The primary reporting and record keeping obligations for mine operators are set out at 30 C.F.R. Part 50. In general, Part 50 sets out three categories of reporting requirements: (1) accidents; (2) injuries and illnesses (7000-1's) and (3) quarterly employment (7000-2's).
