There is a fair amount of mine safety information on the Internet. Most of the mine safety information is maintained on government Web sites. MSHA, with its $250 million plus budget, generates the most mine safety content. NIOSH, which absorbed the former U.S. Bureau of Mines, is also a good mine safety resource. Several states have useful mine safety information. Government-affiliated Web sites in Australia and Canada are another good source for mine safety information. If you know of a useful mine safety link, please email it to Mine Safety and Health Network. |
